Teen Who Killed Father Sells Story TRENTON, N.J. -- The Gloucester City teenager who killed her father last spring has signed a movie deal.

The lawyer representing 19-year-old Jasmine Karo said his client has sold her right to a television division of Sony Pictures. Robert DePersia didn't disclose the amount.

Karo told authorities that she stabbed her father, Alan, in May after an argument. Authorities and neighbors said the father had been abusive to Jasmine and her mother.

A grand jury in Camden County declined to indict the teenager in June.

She was in New York recently to tape the "Montel" TV show, along with other children who had killed a parent or parents. The show is scheduled to air in January.
