Women Videotaped in Dressing Room A South Jersey clothing store owner has been arrested for allegedly videotaping his customers in the dressing rooms.

Camden County Prosecutor Vincent Sarubbi said Eli Arochas, 49, is the owner of the Next Contemporary clothing store at the Ritz Plaza, located at 910 Haddonfield-Berlin Road in Voorhees, N.J.

According to Sarubbi, Arochas placed a camera in the women's dressing rooms. Police said it was clear to them that the camera was not for security.

"The video equipment was set up and was actually manually operated by the proprietor. He would come into the area where the video equipment was set up -- which was obviously separate behind a different wall from the dressing room -- and he would personally operate the video equipment, zooming in on various parts of the individual. He controlled it, he moved it around, he manipulated it," Sarubbi said.

According to the prosecutor, there are 61 different women on the tapes that date back to 1999.

So far, only one of those women has come forward to file a complaint, but authorities hope others who were in the store will come forward and talk to prosecutors.
