Argument Turns Violent

Argument Turns Violent Police in southern New Jersey said an argument led to violence in Paulsboro.

Investigators said Carmen Lopez, 29, was stabbed several times inside of her home on West New Street by her live-in boyfriend, Joel Corales, 42.

When Lopez ran for help, police said Corales stabbed himself.

Lopez remained hospitalized Monday night in stable condition, authorities said. Corales was in critical condition.
