Megan`s Law Anniversary This weekend marked an anniversary of a crime in South Jersey that led to a landmark law.

7-year-old Megan was raped and strangled by her neighbor Jessy in 1994. He was a convicted sex offender but nobody in the area knew it.

Seven years ago yesterday he was convicted of the crime and now on death row in New Jersey.

Megan's Law requires communities to be identified when convicted sex predators move into a neighborhood.
