NJ Soldier Dies in Afghanistan

NJ Soldier Dies in Afghanistan New Jersey is mourning the loss of another soldier killed in the War on Terrorism.

The Defense Department says Cpt. Charles Robinson died Friday at Forward Operating Base Orgun-E in Afghanistan.

The 29-year-old Robinson and another soldier, Staff Sergeant Leroy Alexander of Dale City, Virginia, were killed when their convoy vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device.

Both men were based at Fort Bragg in North Carolina and assigned to the First Battalion, Seventh Special Forces Group.

Their deaths were announced last night.
