Father Charged in Child's Death

New Jersey state police have charged a Pennsylvania man in a crash that claimed the life of his two-year-old daughter on the Atlantic City Expressway.

State police say Wael Mousa sideswiped an SUV that had stopped suddenly Sunday near the Egg Harbor toll plaza. Mousa then slammed into a guardrail.

Police say a car seat or seatbelt would have prevented the child from being ejected out the rear passenger side window and onto the shoulder of the road.

Mousa is charged with careless driving and not securing a child. He is from Allentown, Pa.
