More Flu Shots Available in BurlCo
The Burlington County Health Department has received more flu vaccine and will hold clinics for seniors and high risk adults from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 17th at the Rutgers Eco-Complex on Florence-Columbus Road in Mansfield, and Friday, November 18th at the Evesham Township Recreation Department (Gibson House), 984 Tuckerton Road.

High risk groups to be immunized include adults over age 65 or those with chronic medical conditions, pregnant women, health care workers involved in direct patient care, caregivers and household contacts of infants under 6 months, and residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
Public Health Coordinator Robert Gogats said the County received about 1,400 doses and will review the availability of vaccine after the Nov. 18th clinic for rescheduling additional clinics.
Updates will be posted to the County website at www.co.burlington.nj.us and announced through the media. Individuals also may call the flu hotline at (609) 265-5758.
