More Flu Shots Available in BurlCo

High risk groups to be immunized include adults over age 65 or those with chronic medical conditions, pregnant women, health care workers involved in direct patient care, caregivers and household contacts of infants under 6 months, and residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
Public Health Coordinator Robert Gogats said the County received about 1,400 doses and will review the availability of vaccine after the Nov. 18th clinic for rescheduling additional clinics.
Updates will be posted to the County website at www.co.burlington.nj.us and announced through the media. Individuals also may call the flu hotline at (609) 265-5758.
