CamCo Adds Flu Shot Sites

Camden County has added three influenza immunization locations to the previously advertised flu shot schedule, according to Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison to the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services.

Flu shots will be offered on November 28 at Bethany Baptist Church, 1115 Gibbsboro Road in Lindenwold, from noon to 4:00 pm; November 30, at the Gloucester Township Senior Center, 1261 Chews Landing Road in Blackwood from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm; and December 2, at the Gloucester Heights Fire Hall, 230 Nicholson Road in Gloucester City, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Previously, delays in the Federally-administered flu vaccine distribution program forced Camden County to cancel several flu shot locations.

The Camden County Department of Health and Human Services has established a hotline to provide county residents with updates on the availability of vaccine. As soon as new information becomes available, the county will revise the Camden County website www.camdencounty.com and the Flu Shot Hotline: 800-999-9045.
