Keeping Kids Warm

by Press Release | Jan 29, 2006
Keeping Kids Warm Cooper University Hospital donated $20,000 in Target gift cards to help keep needy children warm this winter. The gift cards were used to purchase new coats for students who need them in the Camden City School District, Berlin Borough, and Chesilhurst Borough.

Cooper employees have been generously donating since 1994 to the Winter Coat Drive. Every year, more employees become involved and their contributions continue to grow. This year, a significant contribution to the Coat Drive was received from patients visiting Cooper’s outpatient satellite offices.

A grand total of 400 Target gift cards will be given to the school districts to purchase winter coats. Target has generously added a percentage of monies raised to increase the number of certificates that can be distributed to the children.
