Free Health Fair for Moms

The Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperatives’ Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition is sponsoring a health fair on Monday, May 15th at the Burlington County Health Department located at 15 Pioneer Blvd., Westampton.

The event is free to the public and will include information for mothers on how to keep their families healthy.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for mothers of all ages to learn important information that will help them with raising their children,” said Freeholder Dawn Marie Addiego, who oversees the county health department.

Information will include smoking cessation for pregnant women and new moms, nutrition for kids, breastfeeding tips, caring for children with special needs, how to have a healthy pregnancy and birth, lead poisoning prevention and women’s reproductive health.

Special features include car seat checks conducted by the Burlington County Sheriffs’ office and free prizes. For more information contact Suzanne Kinkle at 856-665-6000.
