Paddle, Look and Listen on the Rancocas

Learn about nature and wildlife along the creek during the canoe trips led by Naturalist Jen Bulava. Then learn interesting facts about some of the county’s most historical areas during the tours led by Historian Joe Laufer.
• Saturday, Aug. 18, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Canoe from Burlington County College in Pemberton Township for about 3.5 miles to Clark’s Canoe Rental in Pemberton Borough to enjoy a tour of the historic sites on Hanover Street.
• Saturday, Aug. 25, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Canoe from Clark’s Canoe Rental in Pemberton Borough for about 6 miles to Historic Smithville Park in Eastampton to enjoy a tour of the historic industrial village.
• Saturday, Sept. 1, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Canoe from Historic Smithville Park in Eastampton for about 4 miles to Mill Dam Park in Mount Holly to enjoy a tour of the historic town.
Buses will be available to shuttle participants back to their vehicles parked at the original meeting location. The cost is $28 for the canoe rental, and participants must register in advance. Rain cancels. To register, call 609-265-5068.
