Flyers Continue Floundering

Selanne picked up a rebound of Paul Kariya`s shot and flipped it high over Philadelphia rookie goalie Roman Cechmanek. Teammate Tony Hrkac tied the game at 8:31 of the third when he slid across the slot to punch in another rebound.
Steve Rucchin and Mike Leclerc also scored for the Mighty Ducks, who have a four-game (3-0-1) unbeaten streak.
Justin Williams, Paul Ranheim and Daniel McGillis scored for the Flyers, 0-4-3 since beating Vancouver in the season opener.
Williams put the Flyers ahead 1-0 when he jumped out of the penalty box and raced in on a breakaway, beating Anaheim goalie Guy Hebert wide to the glove side at 10:16 of the first period.
Ranheim, acquired in the offseason from Carolina, made it 2-0 about four minutes later when Hebert got his stick on his shot during a scramble in front of the net, but kicked it in with his skate.
Rucchin brought Anaheim to 2-1 at 6:06 of the second period by lifting a shot from the crease high over Cechmanek. McGillis responded 46 seconds later with a slap shot from the slot before Leclerc made it 3-2 by punching in a rebound at 9:11 of the second. Hebert had 29 saves.
