Former Skin, Now A Bird

Former Skin, Now A Bird Thrash led the Washington Redskins last year with 50 catches and posted 653 yards and two touchdowns. His best game came against the Eagles when he had five receptions for 121 yards and one touchdown. Coach Andy Reid says Thrash is exactly the type of player the Eagles have been looking for. He says they needed to upgrade at the wide receiver position, and Thrash will do that for them.

Thrash is 25 years old. He was originally signed by Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent in 1997 out of Missouri Southern. Terms of the deal were reported to be 8 million dollars over 5 years, with a 2 million dollar signing bonus.
