Joan M. Miller and Michael Pearson have joined Urban Engineers’ board of directors as external members.

Pepco Holdings made the following announcements:
Miguel Ortega has been named vice president of project and contract management.
Bob Pinto has been named vice president of electric and gas operations.
Bill Sullivan has been named vice president of technical services.
Sam Williams has been named vice president of support services.
 
Campbell Soup Co. has hired Valerie Oswalt to lead the company’s snacks division. Oswalt was most recently CEO of Century Snacks, a California-based trail mix and nut products company.

Additionally, Rebecca Gardy has been hired as vice president of investor relations, effective March 30.
 
New Jersey Hospital Association announced the hiring of Sandy Capo, DNP, FNP-BC, as vice president of clinical performance and transformation.
 
Joe Hartsig has been named executive vice president, chief merchandising officer of Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. and president of Harmon Stores Inc.
 
Janet Garraty has taken over the role of interim director for the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce.
 
History professor Margaret Marsh will serve as interim chancellor of Rutgers University-Camden beginning July 1. This comes after current chancellor Phoebe Haddon announced she would step down. Marsh previously served as interim chancellor from 2007 to 2009.
 
Sarah Cohen has been named partner at Lauletta Birnbaum.
 
Joseph P. Greenfield, CPA, and Dustin B. Ward, CPA, MBA, have been named partners with Ruotolo, Spewak & Co.
 
Credit Union of New Jersey has promoted Jaime Gangone to business development manager and Connie Sullivan to director of business development.
 
Dilworth Paxson added partner Terry Mutchler to the firm’s litigation practice and the Honorable Patrick J. Murphy to the firm’s litigation and cyber/data privacy practices.

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice honored Terri Goldfine, manager of clinical information, for over 20 years of service at its Winterfest celebration—an annual event that recognizes employees and volunteers for their service milestones and continued dedication to Samaritan’s mission.
 
Cooper University Health Care employee John Bishop is among the 27 finalists for The Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s Citizen Honors Awards. This award recognizes Americans whose courage and selfless service embody courage and sacrifice; commitment and integrity; citizenship and patriotism.
 
Virtua Health CEO Dennis W. Pullin has been named as one of 2020’s Top 25 Minority Leaders in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare.
 
Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice’s Ruby Gala, which took place in February, raised more than $233,000.
 
Senator Troy Singleton will be honored as the 2020 Legislator of the Year. He was chosen by the State Troopers Fraternal Association.
