Enhanced Levels of Care
The health care industry is constantly evolving, and thanks to several notable advancements in recent years, providers are taking advantage of new tools, technology and treatments to help improve patient outcomes. These encouraging developments are having a noticeable impact in the medical world and open up new possibilities both now and in the future.

Here in South Jersey, many health care professionals are utilizing a number of new innovations to care for their patients more effectively and efficiently. Whether it’s improved cancer treatments, less-invasive procedures, quicker recovery times or lessening the financial burden of rising health care costs, the region’s health care landscape is better equipped to address any number of issues.

We spoke with some leaders in the field to find out more about some of the breakthroughs that are transforming the way they provide care while benefitting both providers and patients alike.

What are the most exciting developments in treating blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma or multiple myeloma?

“One of the most promising shifts in blood-cancer care comes from increasingly personalized treatment. MRD-guided therapy is helping us tailor intensity with remarkable precision, while next-generation CAR-T and off-the-shelf cellular therapies are expanding access and improving outcomes. Bispecific antibodies are offering new options for resistant lymphoma and myeloma, and advances in epigenetic drugs, stem-cell transplant safety and rapid molecular diagnostics are collectively transforming how we diagnose, treat and monitor hematologic cancers.”

—Dr. Noah Lindenberg, founder, Lindenberg Cancer & Hematology Center

How are you able to redefine both neurological care and the way it is paid for?

“For too long, insurance companies have interfered with clinical decisions, limited treatment options and burdened patients with rising costs. We are pushing insurance companies out of the exam room. Our model is simple: Every patient receives access to both standard medical therapies and integrative/functional medicine at the same visit, without the usual financial barriers. … We believe outstanding care should be accessible, transparent and free from unnecessary financial obstacles—and we’ve built a system that makes that possible.”

—Dr. Steven Bromley, executive director, Bromley Brain & Mind Institute

What things are on the horizon to help you better care for patients?

“At Relievus, medical advancement means giving patients lasting relief—not just temporary fixes. Our physicians specialize in advanced, minimally invasive pain procedures designed to treat the source of pain and restore quality of life. As demand for these therapies continues to grow, we’re expanding our ability to serve the region with a new ambulatory surgery center opening in Cherry Hill in early 2026, allowing us to deliver high-level pain care more efficiently and closer to home.”

—Dr. Young J. Lee, medical director, Relievus Pain Management
