(Trenton)- Scarborough Green`s RBI single in the 9th Inning capped a four-run rally as New Haven beat the Thunder, 5-4, Monday night. Trenton has lost 10 of their last 12 games.

Trailing 4-1, the Ravens (39-74) got a three-run homer from Troy Farnsworth off Cory Spencer in the 8th Inning to tie the game at 4-4.

The 9th Inning started with a single by Jason Bowers. He moved to second on a sacrifice bunt and to third on a single by Esix Snead. Green ripped the first pitch into right field for the game-winner.

Spencer (3-5), whose last three losses have all been to the Ravens in the 9th Inning, allowed two runs in 1 1/3 innings. Mike Crudale (3-6) got the win with two shutout innings of relief.

Trenton (56-57) scored all of their runs in the 1st Inning on an RBI single by Garry Maddox and a three-run homer by Luis Garcia off New Haven starter Steve Stemle. Trenton managed just three hits after the first inning assualt.

Trenton starter Chris Elmore allowed one run in six innings, but got a no-decision.

The two teams meet again on Tuesday at 7:05 PM. Derrin Ebert (6-5) starts for Trenton against New Haven`s Patrick Coogan (8-7).
