Scary Moment for Corey Simon Defensive tackle Corey Simon went down in a heap Thursday morning at the Eagles training camp.

Action News was at Lehigh University in Bethlehem as trainers and team doctors worked on Simon. The second year defensive tackle, last year`s top draft pick and season-long starter, collided helmet to helmet with another player during full contact practice, and then didn`t get up.

However, Simon was conscious and complaining of tingling in his hands and feet. He was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Medical Center for x-rays.

Doctors are calling Simon`s injury a "stinger", which is a nerve inflammation. He`s being checked out and hopes to be back at practice Thursday afternoon.
