Soapranos Infiltrate South Jersey

Soapranos Infiltrate South Jersey Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hang out with the mob? Have you ever wanted to go to a party for a gangster that didn’t involve a funeral procession, or an FBI investigation? Well, tonight could be your best chance to rub elbows with the soft underbelly of organized crime, sort of. According to a federal wire tap, Tony Soaprano and his crew are about to infest the Clarion Hotel (formerly the Sheraton) in Cherry Hill for one night only.

Mr. Soaprano is retiring from the mob, and Paulie Peanuts is sending him off with a surprise party. The evening is billed as a hilarious audience participation parody of HBO’s smash hit series The Sopranos. After dinner, there will be dancing, hob-knobbing, and a special “Mob Training Class”, with some of the mafias least dangerous thugs.

Included in the $54.95 price tag are dinner, tips, and a show that will leave you in stitches, of laughter. For more information, directions, or to RSVP, call 1-800-383-6080.

If socializing with faux-gangsters isn’t your cup of tea, maybe a night with ‘The King’ will get you rocking. Mark Reno is bringing his Elvis Tribute Show to Barons Steak House on the White Horse Pike in Clementon this Saturday night (10pm to 1:30am). Included with your $7 cover charge will be a DJ spinning oldies between sets. For more information, call 856-783-3300.

Still haven’t got your toes a tapping. How about live jazz on the deck at Copperfield’s Bar and Grill, in Mt Laurel? Call 856-866-1077 for more info. No? Man, are you tough. How about Motown? If the music of the motor city is what you like, why not try the ‘Best of Motown’ with DJ John at Schileens Pub (856-456-2382), on Rt. 47 in Westville. Still no? How about some Blues? Check out Blues Boy Frankie at the Caribbean Crab in Oaklyn? Call 856-858-2722 for info.
