NJ Hospitals Divert Patients

NJ Hospitals Divert Patients BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — An emergency hit several hospitals in southern New Jersey this week, with three facilities being forced to divert any new patients to other hospitals in the region

Burlington County Memorial in Mt. Holly was one of three facilities diverting all patients.

The other hospitals were West Jersey's Marlton Campus and Rancocas Valley Hospital in Willingboro.

Hospital officials at all three sites say they couldn't accept new patients because of a shortage of beds.

That is because they are treating so many patients with flu-like symptoms.

The hospitals are once again accepting patients at this hour, but that could apparently change at any time.
