Governor to Hold Town Meeting Governor James E. McGreevey will hold his second Town Meeting as Governor on Thursday, February 28th at Rowan State University.

The meeting will run from 7 to 9 p.m. in "the Pit" of the Rowan Student Center. The Student Center is located on Route 322 in Glassboro. Directions to Rowan University can be obtained from the school's website, www.rowan.edu.

"We must dedicate ourselves to the immediate challenges of providing for the security of our families and neighbors, having a government that lives within its means and ensuring that our children have excellent schools that teach knowledge and character," McGreevey said.

During his campaign, McGreevey promised New Jerseyans that he would hold town meetings throughout the state as part of his commitment to give government back to the people and to provide them with a state government that is responsive and accountable.

In the upcoming months, McGreevey plans to conduct Town Meetings throughout the state to gather ideas and receive input from members of the public on New Jersey's issues.
