Rand Institute Honors 3 From SJ Three prominent southern New Jersey citizens will be honored by the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs at Rutgers-Camden for leadership contributions to the region during the first "Celebration of South Jersey" event on the U.S.S. New Jersey on Sunday, June 2.

The honorees include: Melvin R. Primas Jr., vice president of Commerce Capital; New Jersey State Senator William Gormley (R-2) and Camden County Surrogate Patricia Egan Jones. They're being honored for promoting regional approaches to growth, and will be the first recipients of the Senator Walter Rand South Jersey Leadership Awards for exemplary service in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
