Skydiving Accident--UPDATE A skydiver was hospitalized in critical condition after making a hard landing in Gloucester County. It happened Wednesday afternoon at Cross Keys Airport. The skydiver, 21-year-old Ross Fenton of Oakton, Virginia, was taken away unconscious.

Officials say Fenton came in too fast and did not have enough air in his parachute to land softly and safely. His knees hit first, then his face slammed hard into the ground.

Fenton is an experienced skydiver who had logged 500 jumps prior to the accident.
