Camden Police Chase Ends with Shooting CAMDEN, NJ - June 5, 2002 — Detective are trying to figure out why a slow-speed chase in Camden County ended with the two suspects shot. Camden Police were involved in a slow speed chase Wednesday morning that ended with two suspects shot.

The tags on the suspects' car came up stolen when officers did a check, according to authorities.

The chase ended in Barrington on Erie Ave at 2nd Ave around 5am. One suspect was shot in the arm, the other was shot in the torso. Both suspects were taken to the hospital for treatment.

One officer suffered a twisted knee as a result of the incident.
