Medford`s Missing Lakes

by 6 ABC-AP | Jul 26, 2002
Medford`s Missing Lakes The residents of Medford want to know what's happening to their local lakes. They're drying up, and the residents are convinced it's not because of the drought.

Cardinal Ridge Upper Lake in Medford is more dry land than water. Three other lakes in the area have the same problem. Residents believe that something more than the drought is at work here.

The township says its engineer will begin looking at the problem next week. Officials are also offering to help the homeowners' associations pay for the costs of engineering studies, all in the hopes of discovering the cause of Medford's disappearing lakes.
