Mortgage Co. To Settle Suit Thousands of homeowners may soon get money back from their mortgage company.

Household International has agreed to settle allegations about predatory lending.

Many customers said that they were charged higher interest rates than promised.

Household could end up paying more than $480 million to settle the allegations.

New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware are all included in the settlement, which is expected to be finalized in December.

Household International said that they apologize to their customers for not always living up to their expectations.
