Eagles get Home Field Advantage A day after a heartbreaking loss in the Meadowlands, New York's other team beat the Packers on Sunday and gave the Eagles home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs.

The New York Jets beat Green Bay 42-17 late Sunday afternoon, settling part of the playoff picture in the NFL's National Football Conference.

The Eagles will now play their first playoff game at Veterans Stadium in two weeks against one of two possible opponents to be decided after San Francisco's game Monday night.

If the Eagles win their divisional playoff game, then the NFC championship game would also be played in Philadelphia, for the first time since 1981. The winner of that game goes to the Super Bowl.

The Eagles also may have star quarterback Donovan McNabb back for the first playoff game.

Head coach Andy Reid said at a Sunday press conference that if McNabb shows progress over the next few days, McNabb will be the first-team quarterback when the team practices this week.

The day and time of the first playoff game won't be known until after the first round of the playoffs next weekend.

Tickets went sale at 9 a.m. Monday -- cash only, and only at Veterans Stadium. Prices are $60 and $70.
