Horse Gets Lucky Again

Just days ago, a horse named Yanick was plucked from a pond after breaking through the ice and being stuck there for hours.
On Monday, Yanick had another frightening night barely surviving another encounter with death.
Yanick, along with a dozen other horses were rushed out of the barn just as the roof collapsed under the weight of the heavy snow.
Witnesses said they could hear the roof cracking as they moved the horses out of harms way. However, one horse was pinned under the roof. Crews gained access using chainsaws and got the horse out in a matter of moments.
Yanick's owners took him back home to his own barn where he is recovering from both incidents.
The other horses have been relocated to barns nearby. Building code inspectors will be returning in the morning to check the structure of the barn.
