Sex-Dungeon Case Sentence

by NBC10/AP | Apr 25, 2003
Sex-Dungeon Case Sentence The father of a girl who drowned in a backyard swimming pool while he was inside a home later found to be a sex dungeon was sentenced Friday to five years in prison.

Michael Wann, 39, left his 3-year-old daughter Samantha unattended and was inside the Cherry Hill home doing drugs in 1998 when a 7-year-old pushed the girl into the pool. Under the sentence, Wann could receive parole in less than a year.

While investigating the case, authorities learned the home was a suburban sadomasochist sex dungeon advertised in sex magazines. Among the things found in the home were masks, whips and a cage.

Wann pleaded guilty in 2000 to child-endangerment charges and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in the cases of Martin and Donna Hunsinger, the couple who owned the home and ran the dungeon.

The Hunsingers pleaded guilty in January to promoting prostitution and were sentenced to probation, community service and required to receive psychiatric evaluations.
