Judge Makes Cell Phone Ruling

Superior Court Judge Angelo DiCamillo upheld cell phone privileges for Frank Mellace's 13-year-old daughter after the Blackwood man objected to her using it at his home.
Mellace said he learned his daughter had described herself in an Internet posting as "single, sexy and sweet" and directed people to call her on the phone.
The dad said he's trying to protect her.
The girl -- a high school freshman -- lives with her mother but visits her dad weekly.
Days after his decree, the girl's mom took Mellace to court, saying their daughter carries the phone for safety reasons.
DiCamillo said the girl can use her phone whenever she's at Mellace's home, except during dinnertime.
Mellace is appealing.
