Reward Offered for Dog Killer A south New Jersey animal shelter is still being besieged with phone calls about an abused dog.

People are coming from all over the country since NBC 10 aired the story of an abused dog left along a road in Salem County.

The dog was discovered last week, with his mouth wrapped shut with tape. A shelter worker named him Rusty, but she was unable to save him and had to put him to sleep. Now, police and shelter workers have launched a campaign to find the person who viciously abused the dog. There is a reward of $3,000 for information and NBC 10 has learned that the reward could soon double.
