Police Looking for Hit & Run Driver

"When I heard the word that he was dead, you know, I lost a part of me." Lisa Miles said. Ever memory of her father has been carefully preserved, because she never had a chance to say good-bye.
"I was angry, devastated, that's not the way, I mean I didn't want my dad ever leaving us, that's not how i wanted him to go."
62-Year-old Larry Skinner had been part of a road crew repairing a bridge in Millville, November 14, when investigators say he was hit by a dump truck.
It was someone driving past the construction site. This person may not know they hit someone. The only bit of evidence is a description of a three axle truck with a red cab and a silver bed.
That description was given by a member of the construction crew that was out there that day who was able to get very vivid description of the vehicle as it passed by.
Detectives had hoped with all the traffic on that stretch of road that someone would have come forward by now. But so far, the man who loved nascar racing and taking his daughter fishing had to be buried before his family could ever understand exactly how or why he died.
"We just want someone to come forward and just go talk to the police, give them more information, you know, so we can have clear, we can have peace," Miles said.
If you were driving along the bridge in Millville Friday, November 14, between about 9:00-9:15 in the morning, you may have seen something and no matter how insignificant you may think it, you should call the Millville Police.
