Peeler Used to Kill Camden Mother

Police said Rosetta Bell, 30, was found about 3 p.m. Wednesday by her current boyfriend.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Vincent Sarubbi, Eugene Wilson (pictured, above) was arrested and charged Thursday with Bell's murder.
Neighbors said Bell had lived in the apartment for a little more than a year. She had two children, a 8-year-old and a 3-month-old -- both boys.
The prosecutors' office said their investigation indicated that Bell and Wilson got into an argument sometime Tuesday evening about Bell's fiance and Wilson's drug use. The argument escalated to the point where Wilson allegedly stabbed her 55 times in the face, neck and chest with what police describe as a potato peeler.
Authorities said Wilson has two prior drug arrests -- including selling drugs near a school.
The children were not in the room at the time of the attack, police said. The 8-year-old found his mother the next morning, but the cell phone's battery was dead, so he stayed with his baby brother until Bell's fiance arrived. The boy reportedly identified Wilson as his mother's attacker, according to police.
Wilson was arraigned Thursday morning and is being held on $500,000 cash bail. He has not entered a plea, but Wilson's attorney told the judge his client remembers arguing with Bell and then blacking out. He said that when he camed to, she was dead, next to him.
