by Press Release-Rutgers | Mar 1, 2004
Rutgers Prof One of the Best Rutgers-Camden's reputation as a center for extraordinary teaching and research continues to expand across the nation. The newest example is Dr. Carol Kaufman-Scarborough (associate professor, SBC-marketing), who has been selected by the Academy of Marketing Science as one of the nation's top marketing educators.

The Rutgers-Camden scholar is one of four recipients of the 2004 Outstanding Teacher in Marketing Award, which will be presented during the Academy of Marketing Science's annual conference in Vancouver in May. Honorees are selected by their peers nationwide on the basis of effective and unique teaching innovations. Kaufman-Scarborough is the only faculty member from a New Jersey and/or metro Philadelphia university named to the honor this year.

"Dr. Kaufman-Scarborough brings enthusiasm, creativity, and an unparalleled grasp of her subject area into every class she teaches," says Dr. Milton Leontiades (dean, SBC). "Her teaching skills are rivaled only by her excellence as a researcher, and she regularly shares this new knowledge with her students. Our undergraduate and MBA students enjoy the tremendous advantage of learning from scholars like Dr. Kaufman-Scarborough and her colleagues."
