New Info on Fox Murder
There is new information in the murder of Juilliard student Sarah Fox. The 21-year-old's body was found facedown and nude in a New York City park in June. The medical examiner determined that she had been strangled. Fox, who is from Pennsauken, N.J., had been reported missing by her roommate.
Police got a tip about a man who walks his dog by Fox's apartment everyday. The female tipster claims she was accosted by the man in the same park where Fox's body was found.
Sources told NBC 10 that the man claimed to be a clairvoyant, and said he could lead police to the woman's clothing. The clothing has not been found.
DeMentri reported that the man knew details of the investigation, but asked for a lawyer when police became more aggressive in their questioning.
No witnesses have come forward in the case, and police have no physical evidence or DNA evidence.
Sources say that police are looking into the possibility that Fox's death might be the work of a serial rapist and murderer.
Flower petals were found arranged around Fox's body. Sources said that the petals were arranged in such a way that they couldn't have gotten there naturally.
However, a check by NYPD detectives did not reveal any other murders involving flower petals around the country.
