Blast From the Past Medford Township, in the heart of Burlington County, will be the place to be on Saturday, May 21st. The Medford Township Council is proud to announce their second annual Blast from the Past” Classic Car Show.

Held along Main Street & Union Street in Medford Village from 10 am until 4 pm, over 300 antique, classic and muscle cars will line historic & scenic Main Street for a peer judged show. While strolling Main Street to check out the cars (and the stores) music from the 50’s and 60’s will be provided by a DJ and live bands on the Cornerstone Bank Main Stage to be located in the heart of the action at Main & Bank Streets. The schedule of performers is as follows: DJ Daryle Lee-All Day; Laurie Lexus-11:00 -11:30am; Lisa Marie-11:30 am -12:00 noon; Lou's Brothers with Special Guests... Elvis etc.-12:00 noon – 1:00 pm; The Magic of Brian Richards - Balloon Animals-1:00 - 1:30 pm; Jenny Burton's Motown-1:40 - 2:00 pm; Marlene Antoinette - Donna Summer Tribute-2:00 - 2:30 pm; Shannon Cole’s Beach Party-2:40 – 3:00 pm; Awards & Trophies-3:00 pm.

Bain's Deli on South Main Street will be hosting an Aftershow Sockhop with WNJC 1360AM's King Arthur broadcasting LIVE and spinning the "Crown Sounds" from 3-5pm. The aftershow broadcast will feature music trivia, show car owner interviews, great music and a recap of the days’ events.

Clowns, magicians and balloon artists will also be strolling through the crowds on Main Street all day to entertain children and adults alike. For those truly in the spirit, a costume contest will judge the best outfits from the '40s, '50s '60s, '70s and '80s.

For lunch or a snack while you’re in town, visit one of Medford’s fine restaurants on Main Street, including Braddock’s Tavern, Café Noelle, Bain’s Deli, the Mulberry Tea Room, and Camille’s Café. In addition, volunteers from the Union Fire Company and the Medford Memorial Community Center will be selling refreshments in the unit block of South Main Street.

This event will mark Medford as a true regional destination for car show enthusiasts and their families. The “Blast from the Past” Classic Car Show is a free event, set to coincide with National Tourism Week. Medford is joining in this national project, which is intended to afford all Delaware Valley residents with an opportunity to discover and learn about many of the historic, scenic, natural, cultural and recreational opportunities within the Township.

The Lakes Corvette Club and the Union Fire Company, along with presenting sponsor Cornerstone Bank, are partnering with Medford Township to present this event.

Pre-registration is $15, and the first 200 vehicle owners that register will receive a commemorative T-shirt. In addition, registrations will also be accepted as space allows on Saturday morning, May 21st from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at the Medford Public Safety Building, located at 91 Union Street. The day of show registration fee will be $20. Partial proceeds will benefit the Union Fire Company.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held on Sunday, May 22nd from noon until 5pm.
