Kiwanis and Kids Unite for Great Cause

During a recent Millville Kiwanis meeting, members donated $300 to the Millville High School Key Club to help out with their initiative. All together, they were able to fill 75 stockings, which were delivered to Boscov’s, a corporate partner and drop-off location.
The Stockings for Kids program is a partnership of B101, NBC10, Raymour & Flanigan, Boscov’s, Jevic, the Salvation Army, and local organization to make a brighter holiday season for thousands of children in need across the Philadelphia region. The effort could only have been accomplished with the assistance of local schools, businesses, organizations, and individuals working together to collect new toys and assemble the stockings.
In the past six years, Stockings for Kids has become a beloved Philadelphia tradition, raising over $6 million in toys and donations that were distributed by the Salvation Army. What began as a school-focused fundraiser has grown into a movement that includes thousands of individuals, schools, corporations, and community groups pitching in together every holiday season to help those who need it the most.
