Marvin Hamlisch Will Perform The profoundly successful and talented composer Marvin Hamlisch will fill the Rutgers-Camden Gordon Theater with the unforgettable sounds of Hollywood during a special local performance at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 23.

The winner of multiple Oscar, Emmy, Tony, Golden Globe, and Pulitzer Prize awards will perform his best-loved film scores and entertain audiences with stories from a lifetime of working with the world's most beloved celebrities.

A true recording legend, Hamlisch is famous for writing the songs "The Way We Were" and "Nobody Does It Better," among countless others, and scores from such celebrated films as "Sophie's Choice," "Ordinary People," "The Sting," and of course, "A Chorus Line."

Tickets cost $25 and $22. Camden residents receive a special 20% discount.

The performance, part of CityArts on Stage's second season, will take place in the 654-seat Gordon Theater, located within the Fine Arts Complex on Third Street, between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Rutgers-Camden campus.
