South Jersey Mayors Healthy Cook-Off

Tem mayors have agreed to participate:
Woolrich Township Mayor Joe Chila, Magnolia Mayor BettyAnn Cowling-Carson, West Deptford Mayor Anna Docimo, Camden Mayor Gwendolyn Faison, Swedesboro Mayor Tom Fromm, Harrison Township Mayor Mike Koestler, Deptford Mayor Paul Medany, Logan Township Mayor Frank Minor, Eastampton Township Mayor Keith Nagler, Pennsauken Mayor Rick Taylor.
The prepared dishes will be judged by a panel of experts and celebrities, including:
Fred Baxter, tight end for the New England Patriots; Chef Robert Minniti, President of the South Jersey Hot Chefs (www.sjhotchefs.com) & Chef/Owner of Bacio Italian Cuisine in Cinnaminson (www.baciorestaurant.com); Rhone Carr, President of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce & World Championship Chili Cook-Off Finalist; Chef George Cranmer, Director of Food & Nutrition Services at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital; Professor Betty Brown-Joynes, MS, RD, Camden County College Nutrition Program; and Patrick Young, President, Aetna Small and Middle Markets.
The Mayors' Healthy Cook-Off is set for 5pm Oct. 2 at the RiverWinds Community Center, 1000 RiverWinds Drive, Thorofare. There are three categories: Healthiest, best tasting and best presentation.
