Great Getaways Wine Tasting Great Getaways Wine Tasting on Friday, February 29th at the Station House in Tuckahoe, NJ will benefit children’s programs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. The event begins with trip to nowhere on the Moët Champagne Train at 7 p.m. and moves into the Station House at 7:30 p.m. for wine tasting, food stations, live music, and fabulous auction items.

Big Brothers Big Sisters annual Wine Tasting has quickly grown into a major social event of the season, and one of the largest wine events in the Jersey Cape. Fine wines from top vineyards will be featured courtesy of Joe Canal’s of Egg Harbor, as well as a wide selection of food stations to complement the wines. The evening will include both live jazz and the sounds of The Shore Thing Band.

The much-anticipated great getaways silent auction offers many luxury packages, including a stay at a beach-front villa in Grenada; other vacation stays in Florida, Myrtle Beach, the Pocono’s, and shore beach hotels; home furnishings; sports memorabilia, including a Limited Edition 75th Anniversary football signed by Donovan McNabb; sports tickets; fitness memberships; fine wines; wine furniture & accessories; auto packages; jewelry; spa packages; great gift certificates and more!

Major sponsors for this year’s event include AtlantiCare, Borgata Heart & Soul Foundation, and The Tropicana. Additional sponsorship opportunities still exist, and area business are encouraged to participate by making donations to the silent auction. All money raised from the event will be used for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties’ community-based and school-based children’s programs.
