What's New in South Jersey?
Every week, we hear about new things coming and going all around South Jersey. Whether it be a new restaurant, store or exhibit, our region continues to be a hub for all things new and exciting!

With help from commercial real estate company Vantage Commercial Real Estate, Philadelphia-based brunch restaurant Brunchaholics is coming to Cherry Hill. The restaurant will inhabit what used to be Zoe’s Kitchen near the corner of Route 70 and Haddonfield Road. Brunchaholics’ unique approach to dining includes all-day brunch options alongside a 30-day revolving menu.

Entenmann’s Bakery Outlets in both Blackwood and Edison abruptly closed with products still on the shelves. Their parent company, Bimbo Bakeries USA, put out the statement: “Associates are currently working around the clock to stock retail grocery shelves, eliminating our ability to stock our outlet stores. The majority of our outlet stores are closed at this time, please call the outlet store in your area to confirm if they are open before visiting.” A sign on the front door of the Blackwood storefront, however, confirms that this location will be “permanently closed.”

Following a devastating fire in May of 2022, Revive Café in Riverton has been working on remodeling their building. A recent Facebook post shows they are anticipating an October re-opening.

Death of the Fox Brewing Company, New Jersey’s only craft brewery, coffeehouse, and coffee roastery is opening up a new coffee-only location by Rowan University. The new coffee shop, Highgrounds Coffee Roasters, is set to open on Sept. 18 and will offer flights, dessert and small bites in addition to their coffee and teas.

GOLFTEC, a golf training center with over 200 locations worldwide, boasts a 96% success rate in helping players up their game. South Jersey golfers will soon be able to choose between the pre-existing location in Moorestown and a Washington Township location, which is coming soon.

Also headed to Washington Township is Playa Bowl with a new location set to open within the Village Pub complex. New Jersey’s Original Acai Shop, as they like to call themselves, features an array of healthy fruit bowls focused on providing nutrients, energy, protein and more.

Burlington County’s Michael Huber Prairie Warbler Preserve is expanding. New Jersey Conservation Foundation recently purchased 691 acres of what used to be a cranberry farm, allowing the Preserve to grow over 50%. This added property will feature trails available to the public, however, the Pinelands Commision has banned the use of motorized vehicles like ATVs.

Hens & Honey Coffee Shop in Swedesboro started getting recognition after word spread about their iced coffee flights, allowing you to try multiple flavors from Birthday Cake to Cow Patty (Brownie) at once. They followed that up by supporting Papa Luigi's pasta flights. Now, starting today, Hens & Honey is offering Affogato Flights—flavorful combos of coffee and ice cream.
