Rutgers University Events Update Due to the continuing national tragedy, the following Rutgers University-Camden events originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15, have been postponed.

* The annual Reunion Night for graduates of the Rutgers University School of Law at Camden, scheduled to be held at Campbell`s Field in Camden, will be postponed until the spring. For more information, call (856) 225-6178.

* The intercollegiate NCAA Division III women`s volleyball match against Centenary College, originally scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on the Rutgers-Camden campus, has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

* The Rutgers-Camden men`s and women`s cross-country teams will not participate in the Wagner College Invitational Tournament.

* A women`s soccer home game against Rutgers-Newark, originally scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., will be rescheduled. A noontime men`s soccer game at Rutgers-Newark also has been postponed.

Rutgers University-Camden`s athletic teams will resume play on Monday, Sept. 17, when the women`s soccer team travels to Centenary College for a 4:30 p.m. match.

The following events WILL take place on Saturday, Sept. 15:

* A free on-campus event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will introduce the Camden Literacy Campaign by the Rutgers-Camden Center for Children and Childhood Studies. Representatives from community health organizations will be on hand to conduct asthma and lead screenings, distribute information, and answer questions. Local storytellers Queen Nur and Oni Lasana, clowns, face-painters, a magician, and book characters will entertain children of all ages. Free food will be available. A drawing featuring book giveaways will be held every half-hour. This free event will be held at the Campus Center, located on Third Street between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Rutgers-Camden campus. * At noon, Rutgers-Camden students, faculty, staff, and friends will participate in the Camden County Interfaith Memorial and Healing Service at Campbell`s Field in Camden.
