C H TWP. Bus Service For Seniors

by The Cherry Hill Connection.com | Nov 18, 2001
C H TWP. Bus Service For Seniors Mayor Susan Bass Levin recently announced that Cherry Hill has added another bus for senior citizens and disabled residents.

The Township added the new bus in an effort to enhance the services currently provided to senior citizens and disabled residents. Buses provide services on the East and West Side of Cherry Hill from Monday through Saturday. In response to resident request, we have increased our regularly scheduled runs to the Pavillions, Target and Kohls, and created a new Cadbury run on Thursdays and Fridays.

Cherry Hill currently operates several free buses throughout the Township. This invaluable service is available to all senior citizens and disabled residents free of charge. Arrangements can also be made for transportation to special appointments within the Township.

"Whether you are grocery shopping, visiting the doctor or dentist, or heading to the library, the Township can help you conveniently reach your destination," Mayor Levin said.

To receive an updated schedule or to set up special travel arrangements, please call 661-4711 between 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.

Schedules are also available at the Cherry Hill Public Library and Town Hall.
