SJ Schools: Eastern High School
The Home of the Vikings has two exciting activities coming up including:
Eastern High School will celebrate its 2003 Honor Societies Inductees on Tuesday April 15th. The Thespian Honor Society and Art Honor Society will begin at 6:30pm and the Foreign Language Honor Society will begin at 7pm. The Tri-M Honor Society will begin at 7:30pm and is followed by a concert in the media center.
Sponsored by the Eastern Viking Football Booster Club, the Viking Wall Project is the creation of the new entrance to McAleer stadium at Eastern High School. The grass has been replaced with over 10,00 bricks with a carved “V” to represent the Vikings. Students, parents and friends of Eastern are invited to purchase a brick to personalize and become a permanent fixture to the Viking walk. There are three brick sizes and the cost ranges from $50 to $150 and will support the football team for pre-game meals, videos and scholarships. For more information, please contact Carey Monaghan at (856) 751-9092.
