Police Search Woods in Evesham EVESHAM, N.J. -- Police returned to Evesham Wednesday morning to search the woods near the home of Krista DiFrancisco, who was stabbed to death just steps from her front door May 10.

Around 30 police officers from the Burlington County Prosecutors Office were involved in the search, looking for clues that could lead to DiFrancisco's killer. A police dog was brought in to aid in the search.

It has been 11 days since DiFrancisco, 24, the mother of a 9-month-old baby girl, was found stabbed near a bush just two doors from her Forrest View Court condominium, while her husband and daughter slept inside. DiFrancesco died two days later at Cooper Medical Center.

Wednesday morning lawmen combed through the wooded area a block from DiFrancisco's home and then left. They would not tell residents or the media anything about possible suspects, motives or the weapon used in the crime.

The attorney for Krista's husband, Bob DiFrancesco, said his client is cooperating with authorities and has even had his body checked for injuries.

The prosecutor's office maintains that nobody has been ruled in or out as suspect in the murder and that no arrest was imminent.
