Attempted Murder in Pennsauken Police say the 28-year-old gunman is still on the loose in the Pennsauken area, even though they do have the weapon recovered from the shooting Sunday morning. There are two people in the hospital in stable condition with multiple gunshot wounds, apparent victims of a lover's triangle.

Tim Howard says he and his family were getting ready for a father's day church service Sunday morning, when he heard next door something that sounded like fire crackers. “I looked out and the guy was shooting in the window. I told my kids and everybody to get down.”

This man had pushed in the window air conditioning unit at 1839 West River Drive in Pennsauken, jumped inside and started shooting at his sleeping ex-girlfriend, 23-year-old Karen Wimms and her new boyfriend.

Howard says he saw someone trying to escape the hail of bullets. “I saw a guy dive out the window who got shot, he was bleeding. He ran to about here. He's looking at me, telling me to call 911. I'm telling him I have a phone in my hand, run.”

The suspect, Baker, later checked himself into a hospital in Philadelphia with a phony name. He got away before police arrived. Police say, “We believe he's suffering a left forearm gunshot wound. Could be a relatively small hole. But he still should be treated”

Police have also issued a restraining order against Baker to keep him away from his ex-girlfriend. There is a warrant out for Baker's arrest charging him with two counts of attempted murder.
