Murdered Woman`s Husband Speaks It has been almost two months since Krista DiFrancesco was found stabbed and dying outside her Burlington County condominium.

On Thursday, her husband, Bill DiFrancesco, released his first statement about the murder investigation.

DiFrancesco was not in attendance when his lawyer, Gary Boguski, read the statement. Boguski said his client was a very private person, but that he felt it was time to finally say something because so many people had been asking about it.

Boguski said DiFrancesco desperately wants to see his wife's killer caught. He added that in the seven weeks since her death, their 11-month-old daughter has learned to walk, a reminder that the girl continues to grow up, but without her mother

"I miss my wife terribly. My heart breaks anew each day when I think about how she was taken from us, especially when I look at our daughter and see Krista in her more each day. Krista was a wonderful mother and I hope to follow her lead as I do my best to raise her," Boguski said while reading the statement.

New information was released Thursday about the case. Police said that somebody called Krista on her cell phone and left a message shortly before she was murdered. Investigators said they tapped into the system and retrieved the message. The lawyer said DiFrancesco did not make the phone call and doesn't know anything about it.

None of the DNA results have come back yet. Krista's husband gave a DNA sample, a videotaped statement and a polygraph statement in an effort to cooperate in the investigation. Boguski said there was no life insurance policy on Krista.

"Believe me, there is no financial positives out of this at all for Bill," Boguski said.

Representatives of the prosecutor's office did not have any comment on the current investigation.
