Free Women's Health Seminars The Burlington County Advisory Council on Women and Virtua Health are hosting free seminars from March 19th to June 11th as part of their annual Healthy Living Series at Virtua Memorial Hospital Burlington County in Mount Holly.

“We encourage women of all ages to take advantage of these free seminars for better health led by experts in their fields,” said Freeholder Stacey F. Jordan.

All of the seminars are held at 7 p.m. in the hospital’s first floor conference center at 175 Madison Avenue. Refreshments will be served.

“Osteoporosis” Can it be prevented?” will be held Wednesday, March 19th and will include free screenings.

“Spice up your sex life” will be held Wednesday, April 16th with speaker Dr. Chevelta A. Bostick-Smith, Virtua gynecologist.

“Mirror, mirror on the wall” will be held Wednesday, May 14th with Virtua Dr. Susan A. Hughes who will give advice for life-long healthy skin.

“Can Weight Training Boost Your Metabolism?” will be held Wednesday, June 11th with fitness trainer Robin Caruso of the Rohrer Center for Health Fitness. Sneakers and loose clothing are recommended for those who choose to participate in the exercise portion.
