Friday
Burlington Township (5-0) at Burlington City (5-0), 6 p.m.
The battle of Burlington: Last week Burlington Township earned a 22-10 win over Delran in yet another matchup of unbeaten. Junior running back Aiden Binns has been unstoppable with 917 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns on just 84 carries. After winning one-score victories in its first two games over Ewing and Bordentown, Burlington City has outscored its last three opponents, 150-49. Junior Mason Shansey has thrown seven touchdown passes while running for three more.
Haddonfield (3-2) at West Deptford (5-0), 7 p.m.
These two teams used to be huge rivals in the old Colonial Conference Liberty Division. Now they are in different divisions in the WJFL. Haddonfield is coming off a 6-3 loss to surprising Pleasantville in a WJFL Continental game. The Bulldogs’ other loss was 36- 20 opening week to unbeaten and defending state Group 1 champion Glassboro. Brody Leonard has rushed for 311 yards and three scores. Last week West Deptford beat Audubon, 29-0, which was the Eagles’ closest game this season. West Deptford will be looking for revenge after last year’s 30-28 loss to Haddonfield. This year junior running back Zamir Davis has rushed for 589 yards (12.8 avg.) and 10 touchdowns.

Seneca bounced back from a 14-11 loss to Haddonfield to defeat Gloucester last week, 35-7 as Anthony Tirico threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns while running for 50 more and a score. This season he has thrown for 596 yards and seven touchdowns while running for 528 yards and five TDs. The Golden Eagles are looking to avenge last year’s 35-12 loss at Hopewell Valley. This season Hopewell Valley has won four in a row since an opening 35-28 loss to Montgomery. Junior Ethan Valenza has rushed for 627 yards and four touchdowns.

This is a game matching two South Jersey Top 10 teams. Winslow Township is the consensus No. 1 team in South Jersey. The two losses have been to national power IMG Academy, 35-14 and to New Jersey’s No. 2 team Bergen Catholic, 41-14. The Eagles have won two in a row following last week’s 49-6 victory over Millville. Quarterback Jalen Parker has thrown for 1,054 yards and 11 touchdowns. This is Camden’s second straight game against a Top 5 South Jersey team after last week’s 8-6 win at Rancocas Valley. This will be a big game for Camden running back Roman Duckett, who is a transfer from Winslow Township.

Junior Naeem Dale has passed for 587 yards and six touchdowns, while running for two more TDs. Pennsauken has won three in a row since losing 41-0 to South Jersey Top 5 team Washington Township. A key for Eastside will be stopping Pennsauken running back RJ Blount, a Temple commit.
