Jenoff Admits to Lying On Stand Testimony continued Wednesday in the murder-for-hire trial of Rabbi Fred Neulander.

Len Jenoff, the admitted hit man, returned to the stand amid questions of his credibility.

The defense does not argue with Jenoff's testimony that he killed Carol Neulander in her Cherry Hill, N.J., home eight years ago this month. However, the defense did bring up Jenoff's admitted history of being a liar.

The man who said that Neulander offered him $30,000 to kill his wife, also admitted on the stand that he was a liar about many statements he made, including a claim to be a consultant to the president's commission on organized crime.

After the prosecution questioned Jenoff about how he and Paul Daniels killed the rabbi's wife, the defense pointed out the fact the Jenoff fantasized about being a secret agent and that he padded his resume to impress clients.

Here is some of the testimony between defense attorney, Mike Riley and Jenoff:

Defense: "The meritorious service citation, what is that for?"
Jenoff: "That's a lie. I would tell you that I met Mr. Reagan."
Defense: "OK, stop. Is that the truth or a lie?"
Jenoff: "That's a lie."
Defense: "Tell us how you became a consultant for the Maryland State Police."
Jenoff: "I wasn't, sir."
Defense: "That was another lie?"
Jenoff: "Yes sir."
Defense: "Mr. Jenoff, is it true that when you spun these tales you relied on certain techniques of deception to sell these stories, didn't you?
Jenoff: "Yes."
Defense: "And you would do things, like you would take a real person, for instance, and you would make up a story, a totally false story about them, didn't you?
Jenoff: "At times."

Authorities said that Jenoff is the only direct connection that the prosecution has to the rabbi, who they say paid Jenoff $30,000 to kill his wife, Carol. Jenoff will be back on the stand on Thursday.
