Vegas Hags Pigskin Picks

Tampa Bay (+3) at Washington
The Bucs are mad after their collapse on MNF and the Skins will pay. Gruden will have his team up for this one and I think the Skins will still be depressed after falling short to the Birds.
Bucs 27 – Redskins 13
Carolina (+5) at Indianapolis
Indy was amazing on Monday night, but this is a typical letdown game. Close, but if the Panthers are for real, they steal this one.
Panthers 19 – Colts 17
Philadelphia (+1) at Dallas
The Cowboys are the second imposter team to play the Eagles in a row. They are not for real – improved, yes – better than the Eagles, no. Look for the Eagles to shut down Quincy Carter and Troy Hambrick and beat the Cowgirls and the Tuna for the 7th consecutive time. The win will put the Eagles where they rightly belong – 1st place in the East.
Eagles 31 – Cowboys 20
New York Giants (+2½) at New England
The Pats are a tough team to figure – dominating one weak, hideous the next. Which team shows up this week?
Giants 24 – Patriots 23
Chicago (+5½) at New Orleans
Da bears and the Aints…yick! Actually, the Bears showed signs of life last week and the Saints can’t possibly be as bad as they’ve looked – can they? Saints wake up at home as the Bears go back to being awful.
Saints 23 – Bears - 17
Oakland (+3) at Cleveland
Wow, the Raiders got old in a hurry. The Browns have been another team that’s tough to figure, but I’ll take the home team here in a dog - fight.
Brownies 28 – Raiders 26
Miami (-3) at Jacksonville
The jags woke up with the return of Jimmy Smith last week, and the Dolphins looked great against the Giants. In this battle of Floridians, I like the Dolphins D to teach the rookie QB a few lessons.
Dolphins 20 – Jags 13
Baltimore (-5½) at Arizona
Anyone think the Cards can actually put up some points on the Ravens D? I thought so. The Cards D might even make the inept Ravens offense look good!
Ravens 22 – Cards 10
Houston (+10) at Tennessee
Titans are the other good, mad team looking to take it out on someone. Hello, Texans…
Titans 30 – Texans 17
Kansas City (+1½) at Green Bay
This is the best game of the weekend. The Chiefs are undefeated and the Pack has always been tough at Lambeau. Both teams come off of emotional wins last week, but I like the home team to wiggle out a win here.
Packers 27 – Chiefs 24
Buffalo (-2½) at New York Jets
This line looks a little low to me and that scares me. Fortunately, the Jets do not scare me…or the Bills.
Bills 26 – Jets 20
Pittsburgh (+7) at Denver
What happened to the Steelers? This is an interesting game as the Steelers will be angry and looking for a rebound and the Broncos lost a heart breaker last week. Since it’s in Denver, I’ll stick with the Broncos, but the Steelers should cover.
Broncos 27 – Steelers 24
San Francisco (+3½) at Seattle
Mike Holmgren was embarrassed by his old team last week and the Niners finally moved the ball on offense. The Hawks bounce back at home this week as TO screams at everyone within earshot on the sidelines and in the stands. Hey Terrell, shut up and play already.
Seahawks 31 – 49ers 27
Atlanta (+11) at St. Louis
No Vick, no win. See ya Dan Reeves.
Rams 27 – Falcons 17
Enjoy the games.
